Further problems with Platinum despite statement from my Sofia lawyers.
PDI ignored statement to chase full payment threatening cancellation of contract with loss of any payments ignoring contract. Calls from yet another employee you must have noticed the high turnover of staff.

sorry to see so few responses for Platinum developements looks like everyone has just given up. So without any input from other buyers group action would not be possible and I don't know how to contact other buyers other than this forum. Looks like we remain shafted by Platinum .

I am surprised so few people seem to use this forum. On the White Oaks forum we are experiencing the same problems with Platinum.They are not to be trusted and really the only way we will achieve anything is to get together as a group and challenge them.It would make the legal costs a lot cheaper if we could approach it with a united front ,and share the cost.I have kept all the e mails I have sent and received over the last two years and I can certainly prove that Platinum have lied consistently. I have also been in contact with Dream homes regularly and they say I am the only Platinum buyer who has contacted them with problems and queries(I find this hard to believe)

Glad to hear from another buyer of White Peaks. It would be great if more of us got together and shared experiences...
Regarding guaranteed rental, I have not received any confirmation that I will be compensated for the severe delay of 1 year (and possibly cancellation?) of this scheme.
At the moment, I am more worried about the fact one of the two developers has not fully furnished my apartment; there are items missing for roughly 1000 euros which he refuses to supply because they were not explicitly spelled out in the contract. I don't see how this can be my problem so I have asked a barrister down there to negotiate a compensation for me. Does anyone also have this problem?
Also, I am of course disappointed with the fact that rental is significantly delayed. It was supposed to be completely ready for December 2007 but it now looks like I will not have any rental income for january and february at least. Very disappointing indeed.

not over the moon with the guaranteed rental either. very dubious practice indeed. I used Bulgarian Properties, who seldom answer my questions (or if they do, not the ones I ask like 'Is it finished?')
If anyone else has had experiences with this let me know

| If anyone sees this forum before signing a contract with Platinum please look at the forum for White Oaks first and consider how good you think their performance has been there and then be very sure you have a watertight contract and a very good lawyer | johntysandra |
