Well i hope that at least the adult pool is ready on the 26th may as we have children and they will be so disappointed if it isn't . Can someone say that the pool has been filled with water now.

 We cannot believe what is happening about the childrens pool .  We also chose pollo because of the childrens pool and playground and all the extra amenities that we are suppose to have. 

 If you go onto google type in pollo resort and then you will see buyinbulgaria.com. There is a lovely picture of our complex with the childrens pool (rectangular and a good size ) As you walk into the main entrance to the apartments and next to f block.  So this is what we were expecting to see on 26th may . Not happy at all.

I'm new the forum! We are planning to fly out on 20th June. Does anyone know if ALL the facilities will be in place then. i.e Bowling / Wellness Centre etc

I too have contacted my BG Solicitor and asked about a late penalty compensation... I have asked 3 times now and may seek a Solicitor in the UK to deal with it.

We went out last year and was PUT UP! in the palazzo  the room was very basic.

This has got to be the longest property deal I have ever done!!

There is a 2 year rental deal, the 6% is due this year, I have asked them to take off the price of my stay from the 2nd year's 6% which they have agreed, so just flight to find now

Booked my flights yesterday cost €1200 for four travelling on the 16th July.

Ralitsa is posting me keys and deeds, will now have to sort out furniture pack and would be greatful if people who have already bought their furniture could pm me with their thoughts.

Sorry we didnt get back to you we've been away. Jane we are in F16 and we are going out 7th July. Alex has promised me it will be finished to stay in for then so i'll chase him up in June to double check.  There is a shop near the bowling area i walked in it last year and is quite a good size compared to the palazzo.

Anyone get anywhere with compo for the missing childrens pool and playground?

Can I suggest we all wait until everything is complete and we then review things, if we keep hasseling Alex he may just stop everything then we are all going to lose out. It is imperative that they get the apartments sorted and the pool ready for use otherwise none of us are going to have a holiday this year again and we certainly won't be able to rent them out if it is not useable.

I've already printed it off from the website and your right I think it was/is a bubble pool for the adults - I'm so annoyed I can't begin to tell you.

We certainly weren't told about Polo 2 being built and them using our facilities.

I thought that little circle pool, seperate, beside the bridge was a bubble pool for adults - that was what we were told, surely that is far too small for a childrens pool only 2 or 3 would be able to be in there at any one time.

Personally I think we should take a print of what it says we should have off the website as with all these complaints and questions to Alex they are going to withdraw their info soon and if we want compensation or reduceded maintenance we won't have any proof that we have been mis sold.

Alex told us the green building attatched at the end of block A was to be a supermarket,we have booked flights to go 19th May for 1 week but our kitchen isnt in and the panels between the apartments are still missing.

Wonder if the welcome party is still on the 20th?

I called Alex yesterday and he said that there was going to be a section in the main pool for kiddies - which I imagine is the small circle that ray69 said about.  my question is - is it shallow and will it have the 'water attractions?' - I doubt it.

I think I may call our original agent in the UK Blue Horizons because I feel that we have been mis-sold the property - we check out so many different developments before deciding on the Polo and for them to back out of the childrens pool AND then indoor pool is pretty crap in my personal opinion !!!!!!!!

the kiddies pool is the circle beside the bridge .about the same size as the one at the palazzo ..i would like to see a rail around it and also on the bridge, if the pollo 2 goes ahead and if they are to use our facilities that should mean  a good reduction on our management fees  ,,,, the shop and resturant beauty salon etc were advertised for lease some time ago ,,

It also says there is a shop on site I think has anyone seen that?? I'm not sure it is the developer we should be blaming or the estate agents that put them up to it. I have tried to contact the agents regarding the compensation due to us for late completion as they insisted we signed a contract with them in the beginning, however guess what...they don't want to know! In fact they are ignoring all communication now with me. The soliciter isn't interested either.

Over all I think it will be a nice place however I do also think we have been strung along just a bit!

We have booked to go out now in June and August.

We have just signed up to share our thoughts & experiences with you, as after reading what you have put has helped us. We went to pollo resort Sept. 07 being promised months leading up to it that our apart. would be finished only for them to tell us 1 week before take-off that it wasnt , so they put us up in the Palazzo up the road. We couldn't believe it when we walked up to pollo, still a complete building site and you could see it was a least 6 months till completion. Especially when the workers were just sitting around, and funny that when we went the next day with Alex and they saw him coming they started looking like they were working!!  To "jeagling" i can confirm there was no separate children’s pool nor a indoor pool as stated on there website, that was just to reel us in again like everything else they promised. Looks like everyone crowed into 1 pool and with Pollo 2 using it as well that sounds cozy...........

On the other hand there a lots of plus points with our resort so overall we are very happy with it. Dont know when the bowling is being installed or does anyone know if its already in? Was coming as a complete unit from the US, sounds good but we'll have to wait and see.

For transfers from airport we used www.motoroads.com/burgas-airport-transfer.html   It worked a lot cheaper than picking up a cab, and they stand waiting for you with a board so you can go straight to your driver without being harassed by everyone else trying to rip you off. Also you pay when you book online so you dont have to give the driver any cash and they were on time when came back to pick us up. (Just double check your pick-up time when they drop you off, we had to change ours slightly). Apart from that , great !!

We have bought in the F block and we'll be their between 7th - 14th July for 1 week, again would be nice if any of you are their the same time to meet up for a drink?

Thanks for those upto date pictures but in all honesty, what on earth are we going to take away from them. Where are all the guests?. In my opinion the place still is not ready. If everyone zooms into the pictures you will see lots of unfinished work.

Can someone please take day time pics, Pollo staff i know you check this forum out come on do something positive and post some pics. If you cant post day time oics at least be honest with a completion date. Drink bar/pool yeah rite!!!!!!!

Does anyone know of anyone that does snagging, we have been advised by the solicitor to have a snagging list done and also to make sure it has been cleaned.

Also I believe one or two of you have choosen your own furniture, are there many shops locally?

That was it - we have friends going out to stay in our apartment in June and we wanted to know how much the resort would charge us to service the room for a week - they said about 20 Euro - which isn't bad.  We have been thinking about using a management company or the Polo to let it out for us when we are not using it but we've had so much interest that we may well do it ourselves - with the Polo servicing it ............... I guess we'll make firmer decisions after going out there in May.  We won't be able to go out there again this year as I'll be too pregnant to fly !!!!!!  Next year we will make full use of it though!!!!!

I keep reading that people "have spoken to the developer" can anyone give me the contact details for this guy as the only contact I have is via Ralitsa and of course when my block (F) is ever finished and I need to speak to the developer I wont have their contact details. Latest from Ralitsa about Block (F) the welness centre is that it still has not been given a habitation order so she can't complete on it yet. Fingers crossed for late in May early June. Have a great time you guys going over in May and don't forget to post your experiences.

We've spoken to the developer recently to advise them that we are going over on the 20th of May and would be okay and everything open - they said yes and they look forward to seeing us.

We got our title deeds back in December or January time as proof of ownership.

the under valation on the deeds seems to  be normal practice ,we were told about  it by the agent before we bought ,my lawyer tells me that the rent for 2008 will be paid start of 2009,,but we had to pay management fees for 2008 in january past ,,2007 has already been deducted from final 10% payment .... has anyone else been told when 2008 rent will be paid ...anyone got cheep flights from n ireland..

Louise taxi from Bourgas was 60 lev, about £20 it takes about 30 mins and there are plenty there they will start to hound you as soon as you get through customs!

We've just booked our flights after confirming with the Polo Resort that our apartment will be ready to use and the resort open (20th of May) Whizz Air from Luton.

Can anyone tell me approximately how much a taxi would cost from the airport (Bourgas) to the resort and if they are readily available or does anyone know of people that we can book to pick us up and transfer to the resort?

We recently went out there to see what stage the development was at and to furnish our apartment ourselves as we thought that the furniture packs being offered by both the developer and other nfurniture stores was a bit steep !

We were actually spoilt for choice and the quality of furniture that we sourced was of a good quality ! We managed to furnish our property for approx 1600 euro delivered and assembled, which is a big saving to what we have been offered by going 'blind' with a company and not knowing the real quality of the furniture. !!

There are loads of furniture stores nearby, all offering something !!

We have bought all our furniture from Dwane and Michelle and they have been brilliant. They sent pictures so that I could choose and they costed it all out for us. They even did the snagging  and spoke to the developers.

I would recommend them highly.
