Hi All (If there's anyone left)
I popped over to Bansko for a few days last week to see how things were progressing. The couple of times I drove over to the site I was a little disappointed to find no builders around. The structure is up to the first floor but at this rate August 2009 looks a little optimistic. All other developments in the vicinity are nearing completion and quite frankly Pirin Spa looks like a blot on the landscape. It strikes me that Galliard are holding on to an awful lot of deposit money for a very long time. I'm having the development looked at in September and if there is no progress measures will have to be taken. | clariano |

| Hi everyone. Have just read a rather discouraging article in the Sunday Mail re Bansko and Bulgarian Dreams. Thought I would go on to Galliard's site to see the progress on Pirin Spa. However, Bulgaria has disappeared from their site!! The only international property shown is Turkey. Suggest we all try and ring Galliard on Monday to find out what is (or is not!) going on out there. | trisha13 |

| If the development you are looking at is the one with a black style roof, this was a very large hotel/apartment block, the name escapes me at the moment, the Pirin Spa is further down the road, away from the golf course, and is on the other side of the road from a very small hotel which seems to have been there for some time. | saunders |

I think I've found it, about 500m south of the Pirin Residence. It's an old image, as you say, but its something to keep tabs on over the next year. There appears to be another large building close by. Any ideas?

| clariano, we too have purchased one of the ski apartments, with regards to google earth, we have the free download version which has a way out of date photograph of the area, but from our visit earlier this year I would estimate the following co ordinates 41 51' 47.87 N by 23 51' 07.0.3 E, that should get you close, if not follow the road north until you get to the golf course enterence, then come back down past the hugh development with black type roofs then further down until you see two smaller concerete bocks facing each other on the right side of the road as you come down. I've bought one of the Ski Apartments. I've just discovered this site and with a bit of luck more information will be available by working together. I'm curious to know exactly where abouts the resort is and wondered if anyone knows the global co-ordinates so that I can view on Google Earth.

| Sorry forgot to update from our visit, Nadya took us to the site, the concorete base for both buildings are now down with initial structural steels being out in, the pools and spa areas are being defined, and overall all is going well. Just a note regarding the golf side of things, Nadya still states that the course will be open to all, but if you look at comments regarding Pirrin resisdence on the worldwide webb site they are all up in arms as they are right opposite the main entrance to the golf course, and have documents from the course stating only people who buy on the complex will have access, we will just have to wait and see, but so far so good for us | saunders |
Whats going on in Pirin Spa?
I bought two adjacent studios with a connecting door.
I see it wont be complete until Summer 2009.
Anybody got any recent pics?
We went out last May and stayed at the Katrino Spa.
Hope the PIRIN is as good.

| visited site last week on inspection trip , am told show flat will be open March. Nice location , everything surrounding new. close golf and 10 mins Bansko lifts and 5 mins from proposed resort development at Dobrineste by Balaknstroy . Looks like a good mid term investment. In the process of buying an appartment, just thinking if anyone else is in the same situation, I know that the project manager has just been appointed and that construction is due to start in July, any other news or thoughts would be welcome
