| We have just had our rental income/expenditure and are horrified to find that we made a loss of £100. Has anyone else had the same kind of figures. Our rentals were better than last year and last year we actually made £100 profit. | lisao |
| We are going out to our apartment in Castle 1 for the first time in 3 weeks, anybody got any tips for where to hire skis etc? We are getting very worried about the lack of rental info back from forego and feel this may be a second year of no profits. Anyone else heard anything? | lisao |

I understand the Castle is completed now, and that Forego has opened a website for us all

Hello,
I have bought a 2 bed apartment in Castle 3 in 2007. We are planning to travel there in April. Latest i have heard is that radiators are still being fitted. Can anyone please advise as to the current situation?
What is the ski season like - busy? Rental - good / Slow? Should we be looking at having our apartment managed by the new managers of Castle 1 - do they assume responsibility for the whole complex?
Is the bar finished....!

we have a 1 bedroom apartment in section 6 third floor,we are going out there in two weeks,has anyone been lately ? We were last there in august, are there still a lot of work men lurking round the bar downstairs ???????????
We have not done ski ing before but are looking forward to it,does anyone know any good places for nightlife, live bands or anything else good to do ?

We have an apartment in Castle 1. We have stayed in it several times and have no complaints about the actual apartment. The english couple Katherine and Ian were always very helpful but I am not sure they are still there as we recently e-mailed them and they haven't replied. Forego management of the facilities is not yet up to western standards. They don't seem to realise that western europeans don't appreciate such things as the elevator being switched off just because there are not many people staying in the apartments. When we were there last March we couldn't get a seat in the bar/lobby area because the workmen were usually encamped there. The furniture - which we paid for - was showing signs of wear and tear because of this. It couldn't have been caused by visitors as there were hardly any last season. So it must have been the workers!! Have not heard anything about local taxes. We thought this was all covered in our maintenance agreement. | jem |
Hi There
I'm curious to find out if any other Castle owners have paid there local taxes in Chepelare. These are for the collection of Garbage and other services etc.
I'am told that I need to go into Chepelare personally to pay this, but surely there must be a more cost effective way to pay a tax without travelling to Bulgaria?

| We bought the only 3 bedroom apartment in Castle 1 in December 2005 which was no where near finished. Re-visited in May 2006 and was very pleased with the progress and quality of the finishing works to the whole building. The good news for the Castle is that there is now an english couple managing the sales and marketing on site. They have been very helpful and are keen to see the apartments finished and are currently arranging for bike, quad and ski hire companies etc, to have a presence there. | Hi everybody, we have an apartment in the castle and have recently spent a holiday there - I hasten to add that the castle was not finished and we had no water for the duration of our stay.
