Yes Leyland, I think that is the case, people unable to get mortgages, people thought they would be able to get good rentals to repay loans and mortgages.

A lot of people purchase 2 even 3 apartments, 2 years ago on the strength of achieving good rentals or 'flipping' the apartments before completion,( as probably wrongly advised by estate agents)  only  now to find out neither is possible.. and to top it all of they are struggling to sell them, so stand to lose everything, apartment and deposits, Which is a shame but is also a fact.

Does anybody have a studio in A block available for rent from 10th to August 24th.

I am taking my mother and she would probably like her own place rather than sleeping on the couch ;-)

The FN rep that I spoke to in Sunny Beach last year asured me that the area around the complex will be built up in the future, & the road will have a 30 limit

But then he is an estate agent, time will tell.

NFC is next to a nice water Park, only not next to the one shown on the website that I purchased from which was on the beach, it is however on the other side of the main road.

It is only about an 8 Minute walk into the centre of Sunny Beach & about the same again to the Beach

It's not all bad as living in the centre of Sunny Beach has it's down side as it is like one big disco mid season, so it should be quite, if the road noise is not too bad,

At one stage I did attempt to swap apartments but  was told by a member of FN that a fence was going to be built to reduce road noise, we shall see

Look on the bright side you could pay the same for a caravan in the UK & sit in the rain

I paid the deposit on an apartment in NFC before flying out 

The website I bought from showed a water park on the beach, & the site stated that the apartment was next to the water park

I purchased an East facing 1st floor apartment thinking I would have a sea view

A week or so later the wife & I spent a week in sunny Beach, we found the FN shop & asked to be shown where the complex was going to be built

We were horrified when the rep took us for a drive & pointed to the field on the West side of the main road, meaning our view was the road

That same day I found a local developer (Through my Balkan rep) & ordered an apartment with a view to die for, not on a complex, but at the foot of the mountain on the west side of St'Vlas

I will now be using my NFC apartment to save the taxi fair back to St'Vlas when out on the town, & for a place for the grand kids to stay when there mums are on holls.

No real regrets though, as a long term investment/holiday home you can't go too wrong at the price

What we really need now is cheaper flights.

Has anybody succesfully arranged a TV connection ?

Also how is the key holding service supposed to work. Do we just email them and then they let the keys out ?

Am I the only one who is finding communication with Nesssebar Fort Club a bit pants ?

I could not agree more about the location

That road is busy 24/7 in season, & we are the wrong side of it

As soon as I saw the location, just after I paid my deposit   (which was just a field at the time) I found another apartment to buy with the sea view that I thought we had at NFC

You learn buy your mistakes

A bar would be nice, especially to socialise with other NFC members

If there is not one on site it means crossing that busy road to go for a beer in a bar full of none NFC people

FN reply was there will be 2 restaurants- in sections E3 and C1, a supermarket, a tennis court/ football field, a gym, 6 pools, mini golf and golf putting green

The poster replied asking what about everthing else that was advertised, such as -

This was asked on Apr 29 and there has been no reply from FN

gary, i am heading out tomorrow with my mate louis and my wife's sister alisa, the reason why jude is not going ( my wife ) is because of my son ethan who is as you know is 11 weeks old, i have always been a good boy!  ( just like you )  lol,  i am not on my own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  i would never go anywhere on my own!!

we will definately meet up with you and your missus, looking forward to it.

i only know paul " skinhead " through this site the past few weeks, but very much looking to meet them both tomorrow, i am only going out for 1 week, so will post all the photos first.

It will be good to have Skinhead around though, as when you are there on your own you can't help but notice when in the restaraunts that you are the only person sitting alone

Yes there are Taxi's outside at silly O'Clock but you have to haggle

The market is not far from NFC & clothing is quite cheap, just tell her indoors you will buy her what she can't get in her hand luggage, & leave it in your apartment for the next trip.

If you want to bring stuff back just buy a cheap suitcae out there, I don't mind the wait at Humberside Airport, but it usually takes forever at Bourgas

im goin to take my own sky+ system out there with me ? i have a dish with rubber suckers on so that when i come back you just take the dish down its what the use on touring caravans. that way you dont have to pay fort knox  for cable tv have all english channels and our lass can keep up with the soaps lol

i know we have been through this already in earlier posts but www.bourgasairporttaxis.co.uk do it return for 76 lev and even then i was advised not to book it as you are supposed to get it cheaper outside the airport. one of my work colleagues goes out all the time and has given me a number for a fella called "goldie" who is a taxi driver amongst other things, apparently he is a real "del boy" but i think we all know what that means in bulgaria!

i am going to phone him today to see what price he will do it for, and if he is a good price i will post his number. i will try and barter him down by saying he could get alot of business from this site.
