We haven't even seen it yet.
I should look into going there, what are the rents like? We bought the investor package so haven't got any "free" weeks.

We got the VAT back Ollie/emma
However we have been getting very seep bills from the accountants. For some reason they changed the period dates and submitted another tax return so we owed then a second amount.
Seems odd to me.
Also I sent them detailed schedules all totalled and cross refernces to number supporting papers etc and they bill was even higher than the last one!!!

We are travelling to Bergerac airport. Does anyone have directions from the airport and or any idea about how much a taxi would cost? Will a hire car be necessary?

Like you I only learned about the delay in opening when I contacted Le Grange. Last I heard from them was that a snag list would be ready by the first week in July so I am waiting to hear further news!

| Just got word from Le Grange that the site will be open on 14th July which is very disappointing considering that they had already confirmed availability from 30/6/07 and we had built our holiday around it. They have however accomodated us at another site in Royan. Still disappointed as we wanted to see and stay in our own property!! The other disappointing part was that they did not proactively tell us we had to seek out information as we had not heard from them or received any information on how to get there etc. Anyone else had any such surprises? | PE |

Head out on the N21 - Avenue Pasteur - towards Perigueux, and you should see it on the left after about half a mile. We saw the site being prepared last year.
Glad to see completion is imminent.

| We bought off plan in 2005 & then spent 4 days in Bergerac of summer 2006 with the purpose to go & see what we were getting for our money. Although still only a building site we were able to look around & even stand inside our apartment. Never stepped a foot on French soil before, we were taken aback with the small town of Bergerac & surrounding area. The town is full of passing tourists, its historic & beautiful, much money has been recently spend on upgrading the town centre/square. Clos De Vinges is just on the outskirts of the town & in a beautiful quiet setting, it promises to be a special holiday location. We have no regrets in our investment strategy buying off plan. | bfmcleod |
