I am going to reserve a property at La Hoya Bay.
The agent has told me that all Regency apartments facing out to the sea (not to the shore and marina) have unobstructed sea views from 4th floor upwards. Is this true as I know that there are some other buildings that are going to be constructed in that direction.

I attended the Spring Party held on the Island on 21st Mar. I informed that the latest completion date is DEC 2008 for A,B,C and Dec 2009 for D,E and Dec 2010 for F,G.
Business Village is due for completion in Mar 2009.
The Regency italian piazza style development and the Yacht Club were previewed but not released. | acezz |

I would like to buy a 1br/ app in LHB residence. I can't seem to find any exact prices of the apartments or studios. Does someone know, who I have to contact to view the demo-appartment on the Marjan island? I'm visiting Dubai from 18/01/08 till 23/01/08 and would like to visit this project. Any updated pictures? I've seen the construction pictures on the official site... Not much going on there... Completion date?

I have been told that the LA HOYA BAY Residence will be complete DEC 2008. LA HOYA BAY the project will be much longer.
Khoie are the developer of LA HOYA BAY project but this is only one project on AL MARJAN ISLAND. The Island is not being devloped by KHOIE but by RAKEEN. They are the basically RAK government and have very deep pockets and are as equally well funded as NAKHEEL.
I would not say that either Al HAMRA or LA HOYA BAY is a better project. I will say though that both will benefit from the huge investment RAK government is making in infrastrucure and large development such as MINA AL ARAB.
With Dubai reaching saturation point the smart money is being invested in the Northern Emirates. | acezz |
| I'm an investor in Al Hamra, so I guess I'm biased. But my rationale was that Al Hamra is partially completed and well on the way so one can see exactly what's coming and have confidence that it will get built. Also, the wait is much shorter. La Hoya is beautiful on paper as well as the location. BUT... how long really will the wait be before it's ready--2010, at best? 2011? They are sort of doing what Nakheel has done, but La Hoya developer is not nearly as big as Nakheel and the Palm hasn't been an easy job for Nakheel at all. I see La Hoya as an engineering challenge, among other things. | upandhi |

Hi , I have some properties at La Hoya Bay at very competitive prices, almost 15% lower than what the developer is selling at currently.

yes I got yr msg. There is not much to see at the moment as piling work on the residence has just started. The view from the island back to the mainland and mountains is spectacular though and if the end result is anything like the renderings this should be a unique location. Al Marjan Island is what the Jumeriah Palm should have been.
