| Hi! We are Karen and Trevor and have bought A401, a top floor 2 bed with roof terrace. Looks like we might get a lovely view of the new road! We have been told that completion is July (by Sigma) and were planning to get out to look at it before it goes to rental agency - just to make sure its what we were told we were getting. Reading all these messages makes us think it's a waste of time to go right now. I teach and would have to take time off work to go now. What do any of you advise us to do? Also, can anyone recommend a good hotel to stay at for a week. we were planning to go next week and book something last minute! Help! | Egypttrev |

Regarding the completion date, where did you obtain the info regarding the date of December 08? As far as we knew the completion date is on time, we hope to be there during early September.

Hi All
We have just purchased a 2 bed apartment at the village and would like to introduce ourselves.
We are Tina and Mike from Grimsby , Lincolnshire. We have just returned from a viewing trip and were told that the completion date will be nearer Dec 08 rather than the expected Aug 08, does anyone have any more information on that. I would also be very grateful to hear from anyone regarding furniture packs and the finishings , we were told out there by Yasser the Sigma rep that we could pick and choose colours and designs in our finishings and arranged to go back in Nov to do just that, plus we could also have more say in selections regarding the furniture packs, I wanted most of the furniture pack but I did,nt like the sofa abd chair and I was assured I could change it for a little extra cost. But we have returned home to an email from headoffice saying hurry up and order your furniture pack with choice of brown or Ivory, as it takes 3 months to arrive and we may miss the boat for the Aug 08 completion.
I dont know what IS actually happening and would love to hear from anyone who does. | Tinamaria |

Hi All,
I'm to am trying to get a true dimensioned plan of my apartment without as yet any success, so would you please keep us updated on any progress on that topic.
Does anyone know the real cost of buying a TV set over in Hurghada? Sigma are now offering LCD HD ready units, 19" @ £355 or a 26" @ £525. Are these bargains or not?

| Apparently "White House" on El Nasr Road is on two floors and has some fabulous furniture.
In and Out almost opposite Egypt Air is another good place to shop.
I say apparently as I have not been in to see them myself.
My mate has bought a furniture pack for £4.5k

| Hi kathjones69, we are going out againe in april and will post up to date pics, all i can say to help you is that this delelopment is in a great location and the build quality so far looks good, richard and wendy at sigma have been great through purchase stages so far and have had no problems with contracts ie arrived on time and all due dilegents taken, we have purchased sigmas furniture pack and feel this is good value for money, but only time will tell, hope this helps and no we dont work for sigma,HA HA, regards mods1965. ps we are on 2 floor appartment no 201b. | mods1965 |

- Hi all villagers, great news about beach club, will enhance letting , wendy at sigma told me that the land to the right will never be built on as it is part of the mosqu so sea views will never be lost, (not that we have one as on 2nd floor) regards to all.

Interesting infor about Hurghada. Apparently th eairport isd 20mins fornm the old town centre. Sakalla where we are located is the party part of the town. Glad I'm not next to the old town with tacky bazaars selling tat. I cant resist buying that crap if I'm honest so I'm out of temptations way. | richardabrown |

there is also something playing on my mind is the large peace of land next to the mosque we was sold the place with having sea views but if and when they build on it will loose them i was out in November and went up on the top of the 2nd floor as that was as high as they had got then and can just about get a glimpse of the sea from it | alottogive |
| the road is a six lane motorway but hopefully as we are facing the pool will not have to look at it bet they are not selling the apartments well facing the airport unless they are plane spotters or like to watch cars and lorries | alottogive |
