just discovered this website am very worried as we've invested 2nd payment in golden pearl has anybody any luck getting money back. everytime we ring E+D agency there seems one problem after another. look forward to hearing from any buyers especially irish.

hello all
i am another investor in golden pearl and a very worried one.i got in through e&d who also referred this website.i am planning on taking a trip out to bulgaria near the end of may to look at the development with my own eyes,i dont think this will accomplish much but may put my mind a little to rest if i see a few buildings near built.Has anyone been there recently?Did anybody get a second opinion from a different legal opinion? | nydub |

according to the Bulgarian press leislation has been passed-or is about to be passed- which will allow constructon on the south black sea coast if anyone has any more info on this lets have it. also we should ask Anatoli and E&D for any development.

Yeah
we all got the same call from Anatoli. Does not seem like that we have any option but to run with it. the pressure needs to be kept up on Crash 2000 thru E &D to keep the project going. The 'plan' was/is supposed to be submtted and approved this month, so people, keep asking for progress reports from E&D

Got a phone call from the nice Mr Anatoli las night. He wants us to pay £300 for the law suit against Bulgarian Govt. Says we can get our money back pls compensation from loss of rental income etc. This souds too good to be true. What do you think? We are not sure what to do but he needs a quick decision. Your views appreciated.

I suppose by now everyone has gotten the letter from e & d and the developers re the notion of bringing the Bulgarian to the European court. It would be an idea for some discussion on this one so lets hear from you all.
Strange to hear that the previous comment from Mike_w about getting your investment back-been there and there is no chance, did e & d say that you would get your investment back.??

Finally E & D are saying everything aint allright with Golden Pearl! Just got email from them ( sat 28 sept) talking of getting lawyers to get our money back. This sounds decidedly worrying! What do you guys ( and gals) think? We have invested 40k+ up to now; all but the final instalment.

Just a thought on the last message, the contact us page on the E&D website has gone ( perhaps for a revamp but ??? perhaps another coincidence. Also has anybody views on signing the notary deed prior to the developments completion ?

I too have bought in RGP through E&D Agency. A word of caution on ED Agency.
I visited the site in Bulgaria and met one of the developers representatives - Emile Ivanov who brought us to their head office in Sofia, showed us the architects plans etc. He also introduced us to the ED Agency lawyer in Sofia.
The person I am dealing with in ED Agency is Anatoli Ivanov (co-incidence in the surnames - perhaps).
However the following ED Agency website http://goldeneye.moonfruit.com/ under About Us lists the directors of the company and one of them was "Emile Ivanov" ... conflict of interest or what.
Do not know for sure if it is the same guy we met as a developer but having spoken to Emile in Bulgaria his background/education etc. was similar | BryanF |

Great news about Golden Pearl Resort, the developers have won their court case in proving that the resort in not being built on a nature reserve.
Work on the project will recommence and according to E&D Agency, we are looking at signing the notary in November some time.

We have bought on Golden Pearl to through E&D Agency. We read the story in the mail about it being bulldozed. Has anybody heard anymore? We have been assured it will all be fine and we are probably going to take a chance because if it does get built it should be fantastic. We went out last August and the position was beautiful. Ask your lawyers for the curretn situation with the Golden Pearl. There
is decision of the Supreme Administrative COurt in Bulgaria that
construction should stop because the company is building in a nautre
park without haveing an impact assessment.

| We have heard today that we are now looking at a completion date of 15 Jan to 15 Feb 2007 for Golden Pearl. This is for the flats and the infrastructure. The beach and marina will not be ready at this time, and we await further information on this. | zibrumo |

I don't believe Golden Pearl could possibly be finished in time. It would be better if they would be more realistic with their dates. However I am happy with everything else, building seems to be going well. I bought through E&D and they provide good customer service. When I saw the site over a year ago building hadn't started but it seemed like a good location.
