The development is NOT going ahead - whatever R2i may tell you. Another 4 weeks later, now 12 weeks in total and I still havent been refunded my deposit. Others are in the same boat.

Expect to see R2i Directors in Marrakesh alot at the moment and I'm not so sure its for OUR benefit at all - their £m villa is just being completed and I'm sure they need to be there and call it a tax exempt visit. Hey, but at least someone associated with R2i has a satisfactory investment in  Marrakesh!

I'm hearing that the development is not going ahead due to an issue with getting planning permission. Seems like one of the R2I Directors is in Morocco trying to understand what is going on but it does not sound good.robbiet
Hi, It would be good to here from someone who has signed all contracts and are happy with the buyback, rental insurance etc ,just two of the questions ready2invest seem unable to answer. I myself have invested in salama fez, but after what seems like years waiting for answers , the person dealing with my purchase has left the company, and no one seems to know what is going on. any positive news would be welcome. Yes the brochure looks lovely indeed !js
For anyone who has money in any of the Gardens of Fedela or Salama Valley deals, please BEWARE. I have asked for my money back and it has so far taken 8 weeks and R2i cant even tell me for sure where the money is and when it will be returned to me.debbieb
Hi, I am looking into the salama valley R2i deal in Fez.  Is anyone aware of any pitfalls. The brochure looks lovely as expected!Avni
Hi Heather
did you move to the GoF deal you were promoted ie the appartments for the same price as Atlas in south Marrakesh, or did you move to the GofFed villa development in the North?
Sorry, I dont have a lawyer to recommend but I do know people have been happy with Live Overseas adn I will be using them.

I am investing in the Gardens of Fedela in Marrakesh, having pulled out of Atlas.
I normally try to use a local firm that has been recommended to me rather than those put forward by the selling agents.
I was wondering if any of you had found your own lawyer and if so would you recommend the firm?

Hi Zar,
I have reinvested my Olive Grove and Atlas money into a Gardens of Fedela development in Marrakesh.
I think the olive and atlas situations were quite rare in the fact that they didnt go ahead. R2i reacted very slowly, but not dishonerably.
The problem I have found with them is that they dont answer questions very quickly when you need answers to make decisions on investments, their paperwork is a bit shoddy (contracts, receipts) and that once you have invested, progress reports are slow. But, their deals are generally good, although as with anything dont believe everything in their brochure.
So, I have started investing with a sub agent of theirs (just one guy), who seems to get answers much quicker than I was able to. So I have the good delas and now good service!!
I like the GofF deals, but dont know anything about Mirflet.

I have just payed a reservation fee for  a 3 bed villa in the Gardens of Fedela development at Mirleft in Morocco, promoted by R2i . The deal is a 9 year 7% rental gaurantee, and sounded good. I met the Ready 2 invest peope and they seemed to know what they are doing, but i would welcome any feedback positive or negative from any investors who have invested in Mirleft by R2i  or any other of their develpments. It is my first investment and im starting to feel a little nervous after reading feedback about Atlas and Olive Grove.zar2812
which development in Marrakesh?
There's one already completed, dont know where.
There are 3 seperate sites with appartments in SW - same developer etc but called Salama Valley
There is a development of riad type villas (single storey 2 beds), in NW. Gardens of Fedela 1

I looked at the appartments (currently only being offered to R2i investors that were in Atlas and Olive Grove, on generla sale at higher prices soon). For many reaosns I didnt think this was as good as it looked, but liked the developer and his incentives, so have brought a GofFed riad from another agent.
