Hi James, Nice to see you are very positive about it all.
I thought I had emailed before, and you emailed back, but it must have been someone else, as I
never got a reply.
Have you been getting emails from the large group of people buying at florida gardens?
I am not quite sure how they found my email?
My apt is AT 5 on the 2nd floor I think? if you would like to take a look for me, then you
are wecome to do so. It might be a good idea, as the apt I am buying in Morocco seems
to require lots of snagging from what I have heard.
Thanks Geoff.
If you leave your email I may be able to contact you direct.

Hi jimbo, nice to hear from you.
I also am in Block A, but its AT5, cant be very far away i,m sure.
Yes, I bought through Tecnica.
I have seen properties advertised for more than double the price I paid,
so its not all bad news.
I am buying in other countries, but I think most people don't know that these
forums exist.
When you say situation improves? what do you mean?
As far as I know they will be ready in Dec?
Have you been to Goa before, I haven't. Seems a long way for a holiday.
Speak again Geoff. | Geoff Bulgaria |
Hello jimbo, sorry to keep you waiting.
I am also buying in Florida gardens, seems to have been quite a good
investment.
As for your Q I am as in the dark as you are.
My main concern is the fact that you are only able to take out of
india the same amount as you invest, which wont help very much
when I come to sell.
I have heard some remarks from L& L builders about Tecnica
but I wont write them down.
What are you buying, and what no are you?
Geoff.

Hi! Guys
We are in Australia, and interested in buying something South of Goa. From our experiences in Mangalore and in Cochin, where we bought apartments, the communications are prompt before the settlement, but come to a standstill after. They all want you money.
It's a pity there are no watchdogs (govt Departments) to turn to without having to pay your way through for help.
If anyone has any good contacts to guide us in Goa, would be much appreciated. We hope to be there in August'07.
Cheers

Hi,
Is there no one else out there buying in Florida Gardens? My experience is that the builders have been happy to send me updates when I ask for them, but haven't heard a word from the people we bought through - Tecnica UK and Keith Morling. Not a dickie bird since we paid our last instalment in May 06. And no response to emails. Anyone else finding this? Where is the legal advice? Or info on setting up company? Or a bank account in Goa?
I have a friend who's out in Goa right now and he'll be checking the building progress while out there. But my main worry is about the ownership issues and setting up a company etc. This is probably why the developers, who were so eager to get our money, are now keeping their heads down.
Be great to hear from someone - anyone!!
Cheers,
Jimbo | Jimbo |
