Hi all,

Just wondered how we should progress from here and if anyone has seen any rental income yet, we haven't and by the time we do after the electric and gas has been taken from it it will probably be a tiny amount. We definitely want to move to a new management company as the marketing seems to be minimal with this one, on hotels.com also the apartments are now showing as closed. Any feedback on how the meeting went in January?

Thanks.

Hi All Dream Owners

In the last few days some of us have been mailing each other about our concerns about the management and poor rental income. We have now about 32 people in our list. Few of us met on Sunday. We drafted a letter and distributed to all 32 owners. Once we get feed back on our letter we will sent this to the managemnt. 5 of us will be in bansko Jan 21-24 and take this up with the Mangement and the Developer. If you want to join this group e-mail me and I will share this letter and the issues we are working on. Let us work as a group nad  put pressure on the management.

To all Dream Owners,

Just like to inform everyone that although we were told that Dream was Fully Booked for the Christmas and New Year seasons, it is in fact only 30% occupied at present and is expected to have an occupancy of only 60% over New Years Eve. This is due to alot of cancellations from the booking tours . As for compensation, doubt very much we will see any.

Suggest we work together and find another management team/ company to handle our apartments in Dream.

By the way, Bansko is VERY quiet at the moment - no long queue for the gondola - not many people visiting this Christmas !

Did anyone go to the meeting ?pablo2468

To all Dream owners,

I have been informed by my lawyer that Dream Management Company have held  the Annual General Meeting on 20th October 2007, I could not make it but I did send a list of questions I wanted answers to.

My lawyer informed me that Dream was fully booked for the forth coming winter season!

If you guys want to see the lsis of questions I have sent please PM me; plus, I have been passed the rates for the new season.

Are the people here discussing Dream hotel?gkelly1

Hello to everyone.

I am new to the message board but I have an apartment in Dream, and I visited in August during the jazz festival. Had a great time.

I see from some messages that a removal of the management company is a theme some owners wish to progres with. I would support the action and you do have to give 3 months notice.

If, as a group, we did gve three months notice I think they would start to listen and respond to questions.

I recently received information on the new season and the pricing list for rental packages, did you guys receive it also? If not I could send it to you all.

Ask me as much as you can and I shall try and answer the questions.

My sister just came back from Dream 1 week ago and provided me with some further, interesting information.

Hi everyone

I've got so many concerns that I don't know where to start.  First thing is that I have no idea of the extent to which my apartment is being let out.  After pushing I got an email in March telling me that it had been rented out for three (maybe four) nights since opening in December (I visted on 5th December).  I have to take that on trust. There's no website or online database to see previous and/or booked occupancies.   I didn't expect to have high occupancy in the first year  - but 3 nights?  They won't let me advertise and book people myself (even paying them whatever rentall fee they would lose out on).  So, I'm at their mercy.  I'm going out again in November to see my other apartment in Aspen Golf.    I'll see where we're at then.

I'll be using MRI Viullas and Apts for rentals in Aspen.  Had a look at the contract for Dream (with a view to moving over to MRI rentals).  I'm assuming that the original contract was just passed on twice, ending with the current managment company.   But as the contract is for both real estate managment and rental management, I'm not sure how to pull out of the rental side (the contract says I need to give three months notice but I don't know if that applies to the rental managment side too).

Any views?

Anyone interested in joining up and removing the present Management ( who actually are the developers ) from Dream ? According to the Preliminary Contract, if more than 50% of the owners are unsastisfied with the Management, it is within our rights to change to a new Management.

Can anybody recommend a contact to complete a snag list on an apartment in Dreamtos
Have just returned from inspection of Dream - snag list still incomplete and up until now, we still have no idea as to when our apartment was rented out or for how long . We also have no idea as to what the apartment was rented out for . Have been pressing Dream management for this info. since Jan. 07. Anybody else experiencing the same ? shm
