Hi,
I purchased with MRI in Albufeira last year and found them to be rubbish. To be honest my apartment came with furniture so I can not comment on their package. However you can get everything out there. Across the road from the very large Algarve Shopping Mall is another massive shopping area which focuses on house hold goods. I would say that if you purchased yourself you would save about 30% to 50%. This estimate is based on what I was over charged for other services (for example - Fiscal rep, I saved 70% this year by reading the local news paper and moving to another fiscal rep.)
Try the local news paper The Resident (they have a web site, if you google "The Resident Algarve" you will get them.)

| We have been hounded by the developers to pay for the furniture package upfront. I have been sent photos but to be honest it is very difficult to judge the quality. We have two issues, we want to see the goods in real life and want to know why we are paying double what was quoted for the furniture pack and why it has to be paid in full before delivery which would be sometime in June. We have arranged to see a reputable company in the UK who do furntiture packs and have show rooms all over the UK - | seebs@eircom.net |
