We are buying through overseas homes forever, who have seemed quite good throughout, but i too am getting worried about the long delay. They confirm the story about the government putting in the infastructure, but when I questioned us getting our original deposit back as the building is way over do, so we could use it to invest elsewhere, they just said that they would think that highly unlikely.
Does anyone have any up to date information? Thanks.

| I received an email from nsp,informing me of a one year delay because the bulgarian gov have received a grant from the eu to put the infastructure in place,electric sub station sewage,water ,roads ect.so i am presuming that the final payment will be one year later too.i am going to offer to hold all the deposits that we have paid in MY bank account for them I estimate this at about two and a half million.does anyone know any more. | s w r |

| Not happy, they still have not started work on the development, I spoke to the agent and they said it was beause of the bad weather, like they never have bad weather in winter in Bulgaria! | MD1 |

I agree they seem reasonably good, however, I still have not received preliminary contracts with my choice of unit mentioned, as promised. I have chased this a week ago, so I am awaiting their response!
I am told the start of development has now been put back to December/ early January, this will obviously have a knock on affect on completion.

I invested in this developmet in the fist wave (about 15 months ago) and used Manzanares. Athough of course things are not yet complete, I have so far found Manzanares professional and helpful - they seem reasonably substantial and their fees aren't over the top. | ramenor |

| Ramenor, I chose mine in January, they confirmed this, but they have not updated progress as promised, I am going to Bulgaria next week to my other apartment in Sunny Beach and I have made arrangements to meet a rep from Best of Bulgaria and be shown around the developement area, so I will be able to give you some news after this. | MD1 |

| Couldn't say where our development area was as there were no signs, I probably should have arranged to meet a rep from Best of Bulgaria in hindsight, who could have shown me round. I'm back there in May so I will go again and they should have started work by then. | MD1 |

| I went up there last week, as I was staying at my place in Sunny Beach, I thought I would drive up to look at the area. I couldn't get very close to the development areas, trucks were going in and out. I saw 2 Golf course sites, Lighthouse and one other, both seem a way off completion and I don't know which one Balchik Golf Heights is closest to. It was pi**ing with rain too! | MD1 |
I think this is value for money, I've now reserved a 1 bed myself. Does anyone if the exact location stack's up to what it is being advertised?

Yes I also used NSP International. Not sure but you might be able to go direct to Best of Bulgaria as well, who are the developers and seem to be a VERY professional bunch comparatively speaking.
I agree this development is well priced, given that we prob don't want to be in Sunny Beach now, and that interest has well and truly moved up the coast to here. I have bought a 2 bed and am actually thinking about a second. I have invested in several E Eur areas and my hunch is this is definitely a go.
It's a Woosnam course isn't it that's just next door? And the views to the sea that can't be encroached are v appealing.

We are in the process of purchasing an apartment. It does sound like a great investment. also interested in knowing the developers name. all we know is that they are of Cypriot origin! We are also looking into Latvia which is another hotspot for investment. | kjr42 |
