IMPORTANT - SPRING BLUE FURNITURE WARNING
Hi All,
Hate to be the bearer of bad news and cause of some concern but any of you who have purchased furniture via Spring Blue may want to try to contacting them or discussing with bank / credit card company as to retrieval of your money.
As some of you are aware when we last went out it was to be there for delivery of our furniture. They called when we were on ferry to Ceuta to say they had made a mistake and furniture was not on lorry. They told us to book into a nice hotel fully inclusive and send them the receipt (fortunately, we decided against the Sofitel and went for something far more reasonable otherwise would be even more out of pocket). They then phoned to say furniture would be delivered on the Monday after we had left. Had to leave keys with someone to let them have access. No show on the Monday and then no answer on their phone. Sent email stressing concern and received call to say all would be sorted by end of week. Next we received an email saying they had a 'legal technical' issue with supplier and would not be making any deliveries or refunds until a meeting with their legal team on 19th Feb. Address on Website has now changed from Guildford to Marbella and despite numerous phone calls and emails have had no further word from them. The phone line is now 'temporarily unavailable'. Wanted to find out what we could before causing any unnecessary alarm but have now heard of someone else who went out to Morocco and experienced the same as us and trawling around Google finding some references on posts on other forums. Draw your own conclusions but looks like a very serious problem. Meanwhile, they have a large chunk of our cash!!!!
