I have just come back from Cyprus (12/03/08) and have added some excavation pictures. There has been a lot of work since my initial visit.
I too have had a solicitors bill and am ignoring it till the problems are addressed.

My partner and myself have purchased a property through MRI and have found the customer service awful.
We also have had the solicitor bill and were told we would not be invoiced until completion, also the bill was double the advised amount stated whilst we were on the inspection trip, we have complained to MRI about the increased fees but to date have heard nothing back. We were invoiced just before christmas but have just igored this invoice and will carry on ignoring it until the fees problem has been addressed.

I purchased through MRI but have no information on the progress of the building
Have no current contact name or e-mail address for anyone in Cyprus the one I have the Tele No or e-mail address is no longer in use
If anyone has information I would like to know
Recieved legal fees I expected to pay for these on completion ,
Not happy in paying these fees unless i know there are no problems
