When Platinum tell you the development will be finished in May 2009 they mean ACT15 .You will pay the full amount then but will not be able to use it untill ACT 16 which could be a further 6 months ie over the whole of the next summer season

| hi, i am new to this forum. i have purchased in aheloy beach which was to be completed by the end of 2008 i have now been told it will be may 2009. i am not too bothered it is a few months late as i sort of expected that to happen but i hope it will be finished by may of next year. i have not found platinum too bad at the moment and i think the resort looks absolutely fantastic. so i just hope things run smoothly and go ok. i think the block i have brought in is one of the last ones to be completed so is there anybody out there who bought in the maple buildings on phase 1 and if so your comments would be greatly appreciated. thanks, tracy. ps. i did not purchase with 4front but i have had dealings with linda from there when i was thinking of purchasing in cape verde (unfortunately i did not go ahead with that and still not sure if i have done the right thing by pulling out) but i found her to be very very helpful. | tracyholland |
this seems to be very typical of the way Platinum deal with all their customers.I think we need to get every thing in writing and thorougly gone over by a solicitor. If any of you have watched the program Buying property abroad the used an english solicitor who seemed to be able to deal with these situations Platinum have threatened to re sell my apartments because I was late paying the second payment while I tried to get some guarentee that they would comply with the contract.We need to form a large group and deal with them through a single law firm. I would love to be able to make their behaviour public ,there are still lots of people out there going on inspection trips to see Platinums latest developments and they should know they will be badly treated

Just a warning. I would be very wary of platinum developments. I, along with about 20 other investors, am owed a substantial amount of money from the company (total for whole group of 500,000 euros or more).
We invested in sunset resort. They took this development over, and agreed to pay us back our deposits if we did not want to proceed. After waiting patiently for nearly 3 years, for no good reason they have decided not to pay us and to break off any contact with no good reason.
There is also a multitude of complaints from those who proceeded with the investments and are now stuck with platinum as a very unfriendly and unhelpful mangement company.
Searches on the internet and other fourms will clarify all of this. If you haven't signed anything, I would not recommend proceeding.

Papa mike how did you find there services, they have told me that they will be renting out apartment.

Have you all checked out Platinum before you signed your contract they are a year behind schedule with apartments in Bansko and once you sign a contract with them without penalty clauses they give out no information or if pushed tell lies .I personsally think we should have grave concerns about Platinum and I intend to get to the bottom of the Problem
